HVAC & MECHANICAL LIFTING

Coordinate the Lift with the Installation

CRC supports mechanical contractors with crane service for HVAC replacements, facility upgrades, and new construction. We help plan equipment placement around the load, access, and installation schedule.

Rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, and cooling towers present different lifting requirements. A replacement may involve removing existing equipment before the new unit can be placed. A new installation may need coordination between delivery, crane work, and the installation team.

Share the full sequence early so CRC can review setup needs and the movements required.

PREPARE FOR YOUR HVAC LIFT

Provide equipment weight, dimensions, model details, and manufacturer lifting information when available. Include the installation height, intended placement location, and photographs of possible crane access and setup areas.

Tell us about delivery timing, facility restrictions, and any planned shutdown window. Coordinate roof access and installation responsibilities with the contractor. If equipment needs storage or transportation before installation, related support can be discussed with Advantage Machinery Services, Inc. (AMS).

The distance between the crane and placement point matters as much as equipment weight. Working radius, lifting height, configuration, and site conditions determine suitable equipment. Maximum rated capacity alone does not establish whether a crane can perform the proposed lift.

Request a quote with the job location, preferred date, and equipment details. If equipment has not yet been selected, explain the project stage so CRC can discuss the information needed next.
