LIFT PLANNING & PROJECT PREPARATION
A Clearer Plan for the Work Ahead
CRC helps customers prepare for crane work through project planning, three dimensional lift layouts, and rigging coordination. The planning scope depends on the proposed lift and project requirements.
Start with the load's confirmed weight, dimensions, and manufacturer handling information. Explain where it starts, where it needs to finish, and the anticipated lifting height. Drawings and site photographs help describe the work.
You do not need to select a crane before contacting us. Equipment choice depends on the load, working radius, configuration, access, and ground conditions.
INFORMATION THAT MOVES THE PLAN FORWARD
Describe access routes and possible crane setup areas. Include known obstructions, surrounding structures, and restrictions affecting deliveries or site operations. Tell us about target dates, installation sequencing, and other contractors involved.
Provide requirements for drawings, operator credentials, inspection records, or other documentation early. Engineering review and required professional approval must be confirmed for each project. Do not assume every planning inquiry includes an approved engineering package.
If some details are unknown, describe what you know and identify the missing information. Select Project Planning Assistance or General Inquiry in the quote form. CRC can discuss the next steps for reviewing the work.
Send the job location, timing, load details, and available drawings. Final equipment suitability and arrangements depend on the completed project assessment.
